It is what they say it is — for what that’s worth

One of this platform’s selling points includes its superior SEO. You tag your stories astutely and supposedly, you will rise to page 1 of Google and garner thousands of views. In fact, this is not bullshit! I offer two examples.

Several months ago, I wrote a fluff piece about an infamous porn star fake-named Long Dong Silver. The Donger rose to fame (if not fortune) when it was revealed during a Senate confirmation hearing that Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas sexually harassed an employee at the EEOC while he was working there. (He reportedly told Anita Hill all about the Donger and added that though not quite as big as his idol, Thomas himself boasted a formidable unit.)

It turned out that the Donger’s dong was actually rubber. But I guess it looked real enough to fool a Supreme Court Justice. Oh well! Boys will be boys, right?

Anyway, I tagged the story “Long Dong Silver” and guess what. Go Google that term. And of almost 40 million references, my silly fluff piece is #2 on the list.

Now, that’s search engine optimization if ever I’ve seen it.
