Many good points here. But as for fetishization, it does go both ways. A while back, I opened a fluff piece on Yahoo that featured photos of 25 leading athletes with their wives or significant others. Twenty four of the men were Black and one was White. All 24 Black men had White girlfriends or wives. The only athlete with a Black girlfriend was the White guy. And it was Travis Kelce!
