If you didn’t know Jeffrey was super rich and super pervy, you’d find him to be about the most normal inmate at MCC. I didn’t dig into his psyche with regards to his predilection for underage girls. The only reference I ever made in that area was to ask him if Bill Clinton liked his girls young. To which he answered emphatically “No. He likes his women mature.”
Sorry. Epstein just wasn’t that interesting a guy. Nicholas Gibson, a prisoner who cut his lawyer’s head off, was a much more interesting character. And so was Paul Manafort (my celly for a month). But Jeffrey was a breath of fresh air — as was anybody with half a brain.
The worst thing about prison is the other inmates. We had definitional pedophiles in prison (guys who diddled prepubescent children). Guys like Epstein (men who had sex with sexually mature girls) were a dime a dozen. Nobody judged them.
