I got out of his path way before he got to me and didn't delay him one microsecond. He should have waited to begin crossing First Avenue until the next light cycle began to ensure he could make it at his slow pace. He didn't do that. The old man was an entitled asshole, actually. He inconvenienced several motorists as it turns out with his own arrogance.
