I agree with the last sentence. But I WAS brutalized by a cop at age 15 for doing NOTHING. And as for my people…6 million of them were gassed without a trial not all that long ago. And yes, while I’m not black, I WAS token honky in several road bands, had a black girlfriend for 25 years, and served a year in federal prison with predominantly black criminals.

I have a story on Medium about how much I don't respect and do mistrust members of law enforcement. I'm not defending them. But I have to admit, I liked a lot of the guards in prison and jail. Mostly, we got along fine. Better than with the fucking inmates. They were dog shit.
