Here's the thing: I DID get noticed by the Medium gods and for 2 weeks was widely read and made real money here. Then they pulled the plug as mysteriously as they plugged me in. Thus, I don't think the algorithm is as organic as you think it is. I went from having almost everything distributed to being excommunicated summarily never to be promoted again in a flash with no explanation of either action.
